Logic Hint

A logic puzzle is comprised of a list of clues and a grid like the one you see here on your left. The grid will display a certain number of categories (in this case, 4) and a certain number of items per category (in this case, 5). Every item is matched to one, and only one, other item in each category, and no two items in a category will ever be matched to the same item in another category.

Your goal is to figure out each item's matches, using just the clues given and pure logical deduction.
Do this by inputting the information that you already know (For example, you know that Henri did not make it to the 21st century, so put Xs in the intersection of Henri and 2010, 2003, and 2019. We also know that Cecelia DID make it to the 21st century, so X out the intersection of Cecelia and 1954, and 1987. We also know that Gold was used to symbolize Alchemy, so at the intersection of Alchemy and Gold, mark a O. Then, because we know that none of the other magics could have been represented by Gold, mark an X at the intersection of Gold and Voodoo, Fetilleria, Sealore and Sciencia. Once you've filled in the information you know start cross referencing. For instance, if you know Gold was associated with Alchemy, and Cecelia was known to wear red, you can deduce that Cecelia was not associated with Alchemy, and mark an X at that intersection.

Logic Hint 2

Once you've completed your logic grid, take the letters from the second logic grid image that rest in the same place you placed Os. You'll get a 6 word question that you'll need to answer before you are finished.

Logic Hint 3

Your 6 word question is "What has hands but can't clap" can you figure out the answer?

Logic Answer

Use the word clock as your final answer. Congratulations!

Home Invasions Hint 1

This is a nonagram puzzle. To solve this nonagram you cross reference the information provided for each row and column to deduce which spots have had home invasions. Each row and column provides you with numbers representing areas where attacks have occurred. For example, in the first row no attacks have occured, so you can cross out that entire row of houses. However, the second row the numbers there represent that 6 home invasions have occurred in that row, but you get the extra information of how many were grouped together. So on that row there were 4 attacks that happened with at least one space between them, and then two that happened right next door to eachother. You also have the additional information of the red dots, which are confirmed attack sites. So for instance in the third to last column, you have 2 right on top of each other as represented by the 2 at the top of the column. Cross referencing this information with the information in the columns that intersect that row, allows you to deduce where the attacks occured.

Home Invasions Hint 2

Once you have solved your nonagram, pay close attention to the bolded sections of the article, especially the first one.

Prohibition Arrests Hint

This is a nonagram puzzle with a different look than normal. To solve, you'll need to reference the numbers on each column and row to figure out which blocks had arrests on them. It may be helpful to start with the third row down where the D is circled. You know an arrest happened on that block, and the number on the row says there were two arrests side by side, so the letter next to the D should also be circled and the rest on that row can be crossed out. The column where you just circled the N has a 2 as well, meaning that only the N above it, or the H below it could have arrests, but none of the other letters on that column. Though you can't say for sure yet whether it was the N or the H, you do know that the rest of the column can be crossed out. Continue applying the information as you gather it until every spot has either an X or a circle, then take the circled letters (in order of the years, left to right, top to bottom) to spell out a question.

Secret Gift Exchange Hint

This is a Logic Grid Puzzle.

Do this by inputting the information that you already know. For example: you know that the yellow papered gift was to Carole and from Don, So in the first column marked "From: Don" you can put an O in the intersection of "To: Carole" and "Yellow Paper." You can also mark an X in all the other "To:" names in that column, as well as all the other wrapping options in that column. You can also mark an O in the intersection of "To: Carole" and "Yellow Paper" on the "To: Carole" row, and mark out the other gift wrapping options on that column, as well as the other "From:" names. Because we know that each item is matched with only one other thing in each section, everytime we know one item is attached to another, we can cross it off for the other options in that section. If the gift "To: Carole" had yellow paper, than none of the other gifts could have. Keeping this in mind will help you narrow down options for connections that have not been expressly given in the notes.

Secret Gift Echange Hint 2

Once you have filled out your logic grid take the specified letters from the To: and From: on each gift to spell out an answer.

King Cake Conundrum Hint

Use the Rules list to determine which person got which slice of cake. A good place to start is with the fourth and fifth rule. Stephanie and Racheal have yellow sprinkes, and Josephine has purple frosting. There are only 2 slices with yellow sprinkles (4, 6), and two slices that have purple frosting (2, 6). Because we know the yellow sprinkles slices (4, 6) must belong to Stephanie and Rachael, it must be slice 2 that belongs to Josephine. Continue applying logic rules to the rest of the rules and slices until you've determined each slice's owner, then take the specified letter from their names to spell out your next URL.

Parade Day Puzzlement Hint 1

This is a Logic Grid Puzzle. A logic puzzle is comprised of a list of clues and a grid like the one you see here on your left. Every item is matched to one, and only one, other item in each category, and no two items in a category will ever be matched to the same item in another category.

Your goal is to figure out each item's matches, using just the clues given and pure logical deduction. Do this by inputting the information that you already know. For example: You know that Tina is only drinking water, so on the first row at the intersection of Tina and Water you can mark an O and cross out the other options for Beverages on that row. On the column for water you can cross out the other intersections with Riders as well since only one person will be drinking water, and we know that person is Tina. We also know from that same hint that Tina is not throwing Moon pies, so on that same top row, we can put an X in the intersection for Tina and Moon Pies, AND on the intersection of Moon Pies and Water, we can also mark an X since we know Tina is drinking Water, and NOT throwing Moon Pies.
Continue inputting this information until you have every box either filled with an X or an O. Then take the specified letters from each person, throw and beverage listed in the "Answers" section, to spell out a message.

Red Carpet Hint

The first part of this puzzle is sort of like a mix between sudoku and minesweeper. You know that in each heavily lined section there is a star, you also know that no stars can be within one square of each other either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally AND that once a star is placed in a column and row, no others can be placed in that column and row. You also have the added hint of one area that is just one square big, meaning the star must be in that position. Place your first star in the intersection of A and L, then cross out every square in the L column and the A row. You can also, cross out squares that touch that Star square diagonally. Continue applying this sort of logic to place all your stars and then use the positions of the stars as a cipher. (For instance, you have a star at the intersection of L and A, which means in the coded message below L=A and A=L) use this information to decode the coded message and then enter your answer at the end of delaportebrainbuster.com/ to continue.

Red Carpet Hint 2

Acceptance Speeches Hint

This is called a drop quote puzzle. To solve puzzles of this kind you take letters from each column and drop them into the available spots in the same column. However, it is not as simple as just putting them in the order they appear, you'll need to use logic and your deciphering skills to create coherent words. Sometimes there can be easy places to start, such as with this puzzle. All the way on the right hand side you have a column with a single letter, "M." you can put that "M" in the one available space on that column, and you have the hint that that 5 letter word ends in M. Looking at the available letters in the four columns to the right of the M, what words can you create that end in M? Continue applying that logic to solve the rest of the message, then google the quote and put the name of that person at the end of delaportebrainbuster.com/ to continue.

Poster Paradox Hint 1

To solve this puzzle, you'll need to figure out what each image is representing, and compound words or common phrases can be created by combining them. The goal is to organize the words so that one leads into the next, into the next, into the next and so that all words are connected in one line. For example, if there was a picture of a godmother, a saw, a table, a tooth and a fairy, you could combine those like this: Table - Saw - Tooth - fairy - godmother. Be careful though, as some of the provided images could be connected to multiple things, you'll need to make sure you're able to connect them all in one path before you've completed it. Once you have your final order, take the letters from each poster in order to spell out a message and enter that below to finish the game.

Criticism Confusion Hint

This coded message must be solved by applying rules to the symbols we have hints for. For example we know that the symbol of the crescent moon under the circle represents the letter L, so you can apply the letter L to any spot that bears that symbol. Some of the clues are a little more cryptic, such as the "these symbols represent letters that look the same in the mirror" clue. However, but jotting the possibilities down and cross referencing the the other clues we may be able to deduce which letters are what. For instance we know that all but one of the symbols in the "represent vowels" category are also in the "look the same in the mirror category, so which vowel does not look the same in a mirror? Continue applying this sort of logic to the puzzle until you've solved the first message, then take what you've learned to the second message and use that message as your next url.

Eiffel Tower Names Hint

Combine and anagram the descriptions provided by Mal and Bonnie to determine which names are present on which positions on the tower. For instance, Mal calls the southwest side "untrim" and Bonnie says it "jams" Which two names from the key can you spell with those combined letters (untrimjams)? Pay close attention to the specification of direction, as sometimes they can be talking about a flat side, or they may be talking about a corner. When you've placed all your names, take the specified letters to spell out a message (clockwise starting at the west corner.) Use that message as your final answer.

Reported Sightings Hint

This is a Logic Grid Puzzle. A logic puzzle is comprised of a list of clues and a grid like the one you see here on your left. The grid will display a certain number of categories (in this case, 3) and a certain number of items per category (in this case, 5). Every item is matched to one, and only one, other item in each category, and no two items in a category will ever be matched to the same item in another category.

Your goal is to figure out each item's matches, using just the clues given and pure logical deduction. Do this by inputting the information that you already know. For example: You know that the brunette woman had a green suitcase, so at the intersection of the Brown Hair column and the Green Suitcase row, mark an "O". And because you know that there is only one of each color suitcase, and one lady of each color hair, you also know that none of the other suitcase colors can be matched with the lady with brown hair so you can put an "X" in the rest of the suitcase colors in that Brown hair column. Now, when you narrow down information about the location of the lady with brown hair, you can apply that same information to the location of the green suitcase. Continue applying that sort of logic to complete the puzzle, and once you have every spot marked with an "O" or a "X" you can try to determine which lady is Ellie by using the final clue.

Arrange the 4 people so that no one is in the same row, column as another person (red) or hand sanitizing station (purple), people should also be placed more than 3 spaces away from eachother (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) and should not be within 1 square of the hand sanitizing stations. A good place to start is to X out the spaces where no one else can stand based on the currently available information (the 1 red dot and 2 purple dots.) then see where you could place the remaining 3 people so that they fit within the rules. Once you have done all that, take the letters in the squares where you placed people and put it at the end of delaportebrainbuster.com/ to continue.

So at the intersection of "D" and "F" you can mark an O. the rest of the squares in column D associated with other flowers can be marked with an X since we know that there is only one of each. Continue applying this logic to the remaining areas until all squares have either an O or a X in them. Once you have the grid completed, figure out which bouquet goes to which person based on their flower 1 and 2s. Then take the letter associated with each bouquet in the order of the names listed in the "To:" area.
